Demikian pula, Aang Ependi (24), seorang wirausaha di Bandung. Dia tampak ragu-ragu saat harus menunjukkan di mana jalan yang menurut dia masih mulus. “Mmmm..., Pasir Koja bagus ga sih? Ya kayanya mah sepanjang Asia Afrika – Sudirman lumayan bagus lah, tetapi macet sih,” katanya.

Bagi Ruswanto (24), seorang karyawan BUMD Kota Bandung, ia bisa menikmati jalan mulus di depan GOR Pajajaran hingga Cihampelas bawah. “Jalannya bagus, naik motor jadi fokus. Seperti di luar negeri gitu suasananya,” tuturnya.

Kondisi jalan sangat memengaruhi emosi pengendara saat di jalan. “Jika kondisi jalan bagus, lebih tenang dan ngga cepet stres,” ujar Wisnu (23), seorang mahasiswa. Menurut dia, cuaca Kota Bandung yang saat ini panas dan macet, apalagi ditambah jalanan rusak, membuat pengendara mudah emosi.

JALAN rusak membutuhkan konsentrasi ekstra. Setiap pengendara harus sigap menghindari lubang. “Kalau jalannya bagus kan nyaman. Jadi ngga usah pilih-pilih medan waktu naik sepeda motor,” kata Asep.

Dia berharap, kerusakan jalan segera diperbaiki tanpa pengecualian. “Jangan ada pengkhususan jalan. Semua jalan harus bagus,” ucapnya meminta.

Menurut Aang, berkendara di jalan yang bagus membuat perjalanan lebih lancar, mengurangi kemacetan dan lebih cepat sampai tujuan. “Kalau jalanan rusak terus, lama-lama pengguna motor trail akan meningkat,” ujarnya berkelakar.

Berdasarkan data Dinas Bina Marga dan Pengairan (DBMP) Kota Bandung, dari 1.200 km jalan di Kota Bandung, 40 persen di antaranya rusak. Sementara anggaran yang dimiliki pemerintah hanya cukup untuk memperbaiki 10 persen.

Menurut pengamat pemerintahan dari Universitas Parahyangan Bandung Asep Warlan Yusuf, Pemkot Bandung harus siap dengan beban persoalan infrastruktur yang berat. Sebagai kota jasa dan pariwisata, tidak hanya warga Kota Bandung yang harus ditanggung. Pemerintah tentu tidak bisa membedakan jalan itu untuk warganya maupun para tamu-tamu yang berkunjung ke Kota Bandung.
